Hello,
I have just discovered this site, and this is my first post.
My GMother's name was: Elizabeth McCallum
Married to George Smyth 18/5/1901, Trinity Church of Ireland, Belfast.
Elizabeth's parents were:
Elizabeth Humphreys and
John McCallum
Married 2/10/1876, Trinity Church of Ireland, Belfast
I think with the above surnames, they must have migrated from Scotland.
How do I search these names??
ALL help very much appreciated!!!
Many thanks
Joan

Hi Joan
...and a warm welcome to Talking Scot
I'm afraid I don't know much about Irish records, which looks like where you would need to start - need to wait until someone who does know about these things comes along.
Best wishes

SMYTH/MCCALUM/HUMPHREYS
Hi Lesley,
Thanks very much for answering my email, and the warm welcome!
I did find the marriage records for SMYTH/MCCALLUM at PRONI.
I am now hoping these names sound familiar to someone, possibly on this site.
