Forgie - Old Monkland ?.....

Post by jennyblain » Wed Jun 21, 2006 5:51 pm

I remember somebody asking about Forgie - not sure if it was on this forum though!

Anyway, in trying to track down one of my ancestors I've found some info about a large Forgie family (distant cousins of mine) in Old Monkland - if anybody is looking for them I may be able to help. Mostly 1841 census and some births. They are: Thomas Forgie, Baker in Old Monkland, Margaret McCulloch b 1802, and their eight children..

Hi Jenny
Is this the post you remembered?

You can use the "Search" link at the top of this page to search the site for various words - in this case, Forgie.

Best wishes
Lesley

No - I think it was a post on another forum actually, but sparked by the same initial post. However, if anybody here has Forgie in Old Monklands and my info might be useful, please just let me know :)
