I have William Dixon ( sometimes Dickson) 1765 married to Elizabeth Scoular, son William 1802- 1875, married to Janet Fisher, their son Thomas 1841-1902, married to Christina Clark Dow, , and their son Thomas Charles 1866-1933, married to Agnes Duncan.

I have William McLaughlin, married to Elizabeth Mitchell, daughter Agness ( 1808-1889) married to John Duncan , their son James ( 1848-1903) married to Christina Smith, their daughter Agnes ( 187601958) married to Thomas Charles Dickson. All Lanark, Glasgow. Sound familiar to anyone? Thanks...Donna

Shame you've not had a reply yet, but it's worth "refreshing" your post from time to time, as new people join the site all the time.

I've some Dicksons myself in Glasgow, and will check tonight to see if there are any likely connections.
