Problem with IGI or my computer

On the past 2 occasions I have used the IGI I have struck the same problem. I haven't tried today.

If I put information in and come up with a list, then click on the one I want to look at it comes up but when I try to go back to the list it goes right back to the IGI screen and I have to put in the information agaain.
I am using Toshiba Tecra Notebook and running XP profesional
This has just starte to occur and the only thing different is that I have upgraded Norton 2006

Hi Wini

This has happened to me in the past on the IGI and is very frustrating however, I overcame the problem by clicking on the 'search results' tab at the top left hand side of the page you are viewing. The only problem with that is that it keeps taking you back to the top of the list so it helps to take note of the number on the list that you have looked at so that you know where to continue from especially if the list is extensive.

It was happening to me on an occasional basis before I set of for the Land of the Koala ........

Somewhere on the site there's contact details for technical assistance, - suggest you report the problem.

Like Annette I've had to modify my habit of just clicking the "back" button to return to the results. It always used to work but disnae any more.

Have to teach an old dawg new tricks sometimes

. The return to search results will get you there but yup you gotta scroll the whole list again......which is far far better than re-entering the search parameters!! I've never bothered seeking tech help as I just assumed it was a site improvement

Thanks all,
I will report it to their Technical assistance since I am not the only one.
Will do as you suggest and use the return to search
If it is "AN IMPROVEMENT" I think they should forget it.
