Fife Deaths CD Search.....

Just wondering if some kind person with access to the Fife Deaths CD could search for a couple of relatives I found in the 1841 census, but who seemed to have vanished after that.

They are JEAN ROBERTSON (or MITCHELL) who was born in 1761 and probably died in Ballingry and JANE SHEAN (sometimes spelt CHEYNE) who was born in 1801 and most likely died in Dunfermline.

Let me know if you need more details in order to find them.

Had a quick look and here's what I found:-

No Cheyne death info recorded.
One Shean - George d 16/8/1827 age 50 weaver Dunfermline

Jean Robertson
No deaths in Ballingry and in Dunfermline only four - none of which match the date of birth of 1761 - not even close.

31/01/1830 aged 19
7/4/1832 age 2m dau of Charles Robertson
5/11/1839 age 3 wks dau of William Robertson (wright)
15/3/1844 age 8

You'll see none of these will fit your DOB of 1761.

One Jane Mitchell in Dunfermline - died March 1840 no age given.

One Jane Robertson in Dunfermline - died 11/12/1844 age 29.

There's one jean Mitchell in Dunfermline d 4/6/1833 age 1, dau of John Mitchell.

Sorry I couldn't find anything else - perhaps someone else might double check?

Looks like I'll just have to be content with finding them on the 1841 census!
