Looking for any descendants of Alexander Morton, born c. 1830, died 1922 in Kilmacolm, Renfrewshire and who married my Gt. aunt Janet Marshall, born 1827 Greenock East.
They had sons. Alexander, born 1855 Beith, Ayrshire.
Joseph, born 1861 Greenock.
John Morton, born 1869 Liverpool.
Daughter Jane, born 1866 Liverpool.
Mary, born 1861 Kilmacolm.
Any info. welcome.
Researching - McMorran, Stark, Sanderson, Crawford, Somerville, Cleghorn, Lanarkshire.
Marshall, Laird, Lang, Morton, Renfrewshire.
Craig- Stonehouse. Wilson, Bennet, Linn.

Hi Liz,
Sorry to say I haven't had much response and I am still searching. The problem is there are more than a few Mortons in and around Glasgow and Ayrshire. I have posted messages with other sites some time ago and didn't get any replies either, so who knows where the Mortons are?? Another branch of my Marshall family that seems to be a brickwall!!!
