Has TS ever organised, or thought of organising, a weekend "Research Jolly" with a block booking for Park Street and/or Edinburgh?

It would mean more of us could put faces to names and have the chance to help each other out.

Sounds wonderful but then all my feminine mystique would be blown.

Note that Park Circus, NRH and NAS are closed on Saturdays, but the Mitchell, the National Library and Edinburgh City Library open, or it could be made a long weekend to include a Friday ?! ...............

The last time I was at NRH every time I walked about I was looking at everybody's feet to see if PinkShoes was there!

If it should ever be organised, I'd be there. Being way down here in Bristol I only have online access. It would be a real experience to search for real.

David, having someone there who could point us in the right direction would be very welcome.

Me too !

David that's a very kind offer for everyone. It might be too much excitement in the one day for me though and I'd be worried I'd get flung out for too much hilarity or the like.

This is a great idea. Haven't been to Edinburgh for a long time, but would love to put more faces to names. If I can help at all let me know.
