hi since i posted yesterday...i have since found out that my jean/jane lovie born abt 1781 was the dau of james lovie and janet watson
jean married john ritchie and she died in 1855
any info is always appreciated thanks Michele

I don't know if this will be of any use to you but the following website has MIs for Boyndie and includes lots of people born in Whitehills, Boyndie, including Watsons & Lovies.

Also, and you may have already done this, but if you do a Google search and put " " around the name like
"james lovie" boyndie
it will return all sorts of threads with his name on there and from having a quick glance there are a few, including your one posted on Rootsweb, that come up.
