David Whitten or Martin.....

Seeking information on David Whitten or Martin, son of Jane Whitten , nee Martin. David was born August of 1898, Partick, Glasgow- He was still alive in 1916. Thanks...Donna

Hi Donna

On Scotland's People there is a death for a David Martin in 1942 in Glasgow city, birth date 1898. Have you had a look at that one?

What makes you certain that he was still alive in 1916? There are David Whitten deaths on SP, but before 1915.

Hi Catriona: David is mentioned as being 17 years of age on an application for poor relief being made by his mother Jane. I will check out the DC and see what's there. Thanks. Donna
