Hugh Quinn.....

Post by djcrtoye » Wed Sep 13, 2006 1:49 pm

I am looking for information regarding my gggranda Hugh Quinn who died in 1901 due to smallpox. He had a fruit shop at Parkhead Cross. I know his death will be on Scotlands People, I want to know if there is any other information that I can look at. Thanks

Have you tried Family Search site.

http://www.familysearch.org/

I had a quick look but there is no death for a Hugh Quinn in 1901. If you know roughly how old he was and/or where he was born you'd probably be able to find something.

Hi
A search on SP revealed 3 "Hugh Quinn" died in 1901, but with no indication of age given it is difficult to take it further. (There are 2 Hugh Quin, 7 Hugh Quin* - I'd be tempted to go for the last option & see all 7)

Best wishes
