Hello,
I am looking information on parents and siblings of William Taylor, sheriff/clerk of Dornoch, born in Tain.1778. If the family stories are correct then it should somehow link up with my tree starting from William Taylor and Margaret Forsyth married in St. Andrews, Lhanbryd 1843.

2. JOSEPH FORSYTH2 TAYLOR (WILLIAM1) was born 4 maart 1861 in St. Andrews Lhanbryd, and died 1937 in Brentford, London. He married FRANCES. She died 1936 in Marylebone, London.
Child of JOSEPH TAYLOR and FRANCES is:
3. i. WILLIAM GLADSTONE3 TAYLOR, b. 1892; d. 18 juni 1961.

3. WILLIAM GLADSTONE3 TAYLOR (JOSEPH FORSYTH2, WILLIAM1) was born 1892, and died 18 juni 1961. He married AGNES ELLEN JAMEISON. She was born 1896, and died 1 april 1973.
Children of WILLIAM TAYLOR and AGNES JAMEISON are:
4. i. JUNE EDWINA4 TAYLOR, b. 20 mei 1924.
ii. GORDON FORSYTH TAYLOR, b. 1920; d. 6 december 1990.

4. JUNE EDWINA4 TAYLOR (WILLIAM GLADSTONE3, JOSEPH FORSYTH2, WILLIAM1) was born 20 mei 1924. She married ALAN JAMES SAVERY, son of JAMES SAVERY and GLADYS FRIDAY. He was born 25 november 1924.
Children of JUNE TAYLOR and ALAN SAVERY are:
i. ANTHONY ALAN5 SAVERY, b. 7 september 1945.
ii. JOHN DAVID SAVERY, b. 15 juli 1949.

Yes that's the same one. Do you have anything more on this tree? I am working on the assumption that it's probably one of William Taylor's brothers that we are descended from. If you know who they were I'd be happy and even happier if you happened to have the whole tree.

Hi Dennis,
That looks something like it. I had heard that William had three brothers, but I had not been able to come up with them up till now. I seemed to have drawn a blank on the Morman website although I don't think that it's always complete or accurate. If you do manage anymore that would be fantastic.
