It's the second marriage, a John Freel and Catherine Logan. I can't read who their parents were or the names of the witnesses.

My best guess:

Patrick Freel, Farm Labourer (deceased)
Mary Freel, maiden surname Harker?

David Logan, Farm Labourer (deceased)
Mary Logan, maiden surname Kinlay? (deceased)

Signed: James Smellie, Minster of the ...? Church of Scotland
Manse of .....?, .......?
Witnesses:
Elizabeth .....?
James McKewitt?

Hi Autumnrose

Almost all the names are common in that area.
Patrick Friel
Farm labourer (dec)
Mary Friel
Maiden name
Harken

David LoganFarm labourer
(Deceased) and
Mary Logan
Maiden name
Renton

Witnesses

Elisabeth Renton
James McKewitt

The only one I was not sure about was James McKewitt. I have seen it as McHewat or McHewitt.

You may find the name Harken as Harkness

If you look at the name HOPE in the marriage entry above the 'H' is the same.

Oh Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!

Now if I could only find a birth place for Catherine Logan, David and Mary's daughter.
Some census records for Catherine stated she was born in Haddingtonshire, Salton? Does that location name any sense?

Hi Kathie,

East Saltoun and West Saltoun are two villages in East Lothian (Haddingtonshire). Old maps show the spelling Salton. I would stab a guess that these villages are about 15 miles from Innerwick. So, plenty of sense there.

All the best,

AndrewP

Andrew,
That is fantastic! Thank you for that!
Now if I could only find some kind of birth record for Catherine Logan.
I haven't had any luck with the OPR's.

I've had my work cut out for me trying to research John and Catherine's family.
Some birth, death, and census records had the surname spelled as "Freel, Freil, Friel, Frail, Fraill, Freeland, and Freelint". Yikes!
