Am I just fated, or what?

Post by emanday » Tue Oct 10, 2006 11:33 am

Just down loaded a DC for a rellie in Edinburgh (didn't know I had any :D from there)

Started to have a read at the two others on the page. Aaaaw!

The top one was aged 38, COD Insanity - Cut Throat
The bottom one was aged 24, COD fell off the Dean Bridge in Leith

My rellie died peacefully in her bed - Whew :D

Mary,

I always find the other DC's on the page fascinating.
I love one that says Senility 3 days.

That one was lucky.

Or one, I can't remember the wording, but was found dead at home on the 11th December, last seen 7th December. Lived by himself and couldn't have been missed for a couple of days.

Hi Mary and Wini,
My 2xggrandmother's sister died "exposed to cold while in a state of intoxication"!!
And on a page of Birth records, one below the other, I found my 2x ggrandmother and her sister had children on the same day at the same address in Glasgow!
Regards, Fiona

Well done them, I say! Two births for the price of one midwife

I hope if anyone is researching their granny, it's not poor old Bridget McMullen who died at 69 of 'acute alcohol poisoning with heart failure, 10 days'.......
Here in Aus, a convict forebear is now sought after, but would anyone claim her???
Mine of course were all upright citizens, sez she with a beer in hand....
