Who Do You Think You Are.....

Post by STUARTDALGLEISH » Sun Oct 22, 2006 5:00 pm

Hello all,

Did anybody out there by any chance record the program with David Tennant. I've been trying for a while to find details about my Grandfathers football career and I believe there was possibly a picture of him shown in goal in the program. I did record it but it's now Power Rangers :( ( 5 year old know too much now )

I'm looking for either a loan of a tape or DVD and will return it and pay for any costs involved.

If it's easier, even if you could just take a snapshot of the picture using WinDVD if you have it and a brief desciption of what the man say's whilst talking about his relative.

Many Thanks

Stuart

Hi Stuart, my daughter's recorded it,but she's still to pass it across to me.I'll have a word with her tomorrow, and get it passed on to you.See you're also in Paisley,so there shouldn't be a problem.
I know how it feels when power rangers take over,my grandson couldnt get enough of them

Cheers Nancy :)

Hi Stuart

Just had a look at the listings and the Colin Jackson episode is being repeated in the early hours of Monday morning (tomorrow) so I would think that the David Tennant episode will be repeated next Monday.

I had it on Sky+ I'm afraid or I would be able to help further. :(

It seems to be an ongoing repeat every night - every week.

Hi Annette
I missed a couple of the earlier stories....
We've just gone digital so I'll maybe get to see them this time around.

Having missed all too many TV programs because of what can only be described as "senior moments" I finally decided to upgrade my cable service to the new box with a hard disc.

Folks - It's wunnerful!!!

I sit with my TV guide and set it to record all episodes of progs I don't want to miss, as well as single progs I'd certainly not have remembered about on the day.

I can even record two progs at the same time as I am watching a third!

Hi Stuart,me again.Just to tell you I won't be seeing it either,as there was something wrong with daughters sky recorder and programme had no sound   Man fixed it this morning,so she assures me i'm alright for next weeks recording :) Or maybe i'd be safer setting alarm for 3 in morning, and watching it there and then :)
As the old saying goes,if you want something done properly,do it yourself
Sorry bout that Stuart
Cheers Nancy
