I am very new to Scottish Genealogy. I am having trouble finding information on Alexander Baillie (born 1799) and his brother Daniel Baillie (born 1800). Their parents were William and Margaret. Margaret was born in 1769. William had two brothers, John Baillie and George Baillie. George was born in 1771.
These are all of the dates I know for everyone and all were born and lived in the Highlands. I know, that's a really large area.
They all emmigrated to the US around 1806 except for William who mysteriously stayed behind. maybe died, imprisoned or forced into British Navy. Don't really know.
Any idea where I can go for any information on any of these people with the information I have here?
