Irish Ancestors.....

Hi

I am looking from my great grandfather's ancestors name of Quin who came from Ireland to live in Glasgow. They would have been in Glasgow in 1876 as his wee sister Agnes was born 03 January 1877 her big brothers Isaac [my great grandfather] b.sbt 1866 and John b.abt 1867 were born Ireland.

Their parents also born Ireland were Andrew Quin b.abt 1845 and his wife Annabella Townsley b. abt 1846 [ on death cert known as Annie and on her daughters birth cert she is known as Isabella].

Their parents are:-

James Townsley and Eliza Kane
John Quin and Eliza Cain

Both men were farm labourers

I have to re-post as I have found out through Annette who got me a poorhouse report that there was a mistake on the death cert of Annie Queen/Quin regarding her mothers name.
