Can I ask whether you are looking at all parishes or confining your search to just one or two ?
My Omans were fine as long as they stayed in Halkirk but lost themselves quite quickly when they moved to Wick
Where did John and Margaret marry
Did either parent have siblings who may prove to be someone else's ancestors without realising that John or Margaret were actually related to their line.
Usually putting up a bit more detail means a wider range of people will read a particular post.

I am concentrating on the Caithness Websters just now - there were very few of them. It's thought they came from Aberdeen. so if anyone has Aberdeen Websters of course, I would like to hear.
