Good Morning All,
I been seaching for James Fosters Birth on SP for some time now with no Luck, He was born arround 1853-4 his parents are John Foster and Jessie Campbell,from what I can work out his father was b1785 and his mother b1831, which seems like big age difference. I've also search 1861 census for this family. The family came from Peterhead Aberdeen.
Any Ideas what to do ne

Have you done a parent search on the IGI? If not, I've done one and it comes up with two births to John Foster & Jessie Campbell:-
JOSEPH LINDY FOSTER - Male Birth: 15 APR 1858 Peterhead, Aberdeen, Scotland
JANE FOSTER - Female Birth: 24 JAN 1856 Peterhead, Aberdeen, Scotland
Now I know it's not the magical 1855 but you may have some luck on Jane's birth certificate with details of other 'issue'.
I have an 1855 birth and it confirms details of a son born pre-registration.
'Fraid that's all for the mo, getting past my bedtime.
