Hi Kate

I had a quick look on the LDS Family Search site, and see that the people you are searching for appear on that site. The entries are submissions, so that means that someone has lodged the information with them. If that person was not you, it might be worth while for you to try and contact the other person.

There are two submitted marriage entries for Edward Roger/Edward Rogers and Mary Hall - one about 1763 and the other about 1766. This suggests that the person submitting could not find any confirmation of the accuracy of the information.

Do you know what kind of work these people were involved in? How did you find your way back to Mary Hall? From this information, someone else on the site here might have some ideas for you.

Liz

PS: Somewhere else on this site there's good information about using the IGI, if you don't have much experience of it. I'll try and find that link for you and post it back here.

Got it - http://talkingscot.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4148

I don't know how much experience you have, but there's a lot more good general information in the Tips to Help You Searching section on this site.
