Looking for Roberta Kerr - father (Thomas Kerr) The Shop PUB

Post by jeremy.coker » Tue Nov 28, 2006 8:12 pm

Does anyone remember a pub called "THE SHOP" in glasgow
apparently my grandfather used to run this, and had two daughters
one of whom is called ******* and the other ********.

If anyone could give some details this would be a start.

Regards
Jez

Kerr - update

Post by jeremy.coker » Fri Dec 01, 2006 12:51 pm

Got it slightly wrong,

The Pub was ran/owned by my grandfathers parents in Glasgow,
and was NOT called 'The Shop' but I believe it was generally called this by the punters/locals.

My Grandfathers name (who I believe is no longer living) was born
around 1905 (give or take 10yrs) in Paisley/Glasgow (I think).

So now I can hopefuly print his name: Thomas Arthur Carpenter Kerr.

I also believe that he served in a Scottish regiment during WWII.

He has two daughters, one of which is my mother, and the other is my mothers half sister.

Any information about my mothers half sister or details on Thomas are welcome as I seem to have hit a solid brick wall.
