Post by djcrtoye » Wed Nov 29, 2006 1:04 pm

Can any one help me, I am trying to trace my gg uncles James, Neil and William Toy(e). They all have lived in the Falkirk area at the turn of the 20th century. Their childrens name are the same coz it the names have been kept in the family. I would like to get in contact with their desecdants to complete and enhance my family tree. Thanks

Good morning djcrtoye

Have you looked for the births, mariages and possibly deaths of your great granduncles on www.ScotlandsPeople.gov.uk . Depending on the dates of birth of his children, you may also find them on-line. To search for their descendants you would need to pay a visit to New Register House in Edinburgh. The cut-off time for SP's on-line certificates is 100 years.

Best wishes
