Where is Kisban, Ross & Cromarty?.....

I have been trying to find the birth of John Livingstone (sometimes it is Livingston) On the 1881 Census he is 61 birthplace Kishan, Ross & Cromarty. (born 1820) On his death certificate 1889 he is 72 (born 1817). I have tried from 1816 to 1821 and found nothing. I have tried under Cromarty (whereever it is) and all parishes. But nothing comes up. He married Elspet Craig in 1848 in Banchory. Any help as to where in Scotland I can look for him would be appreciated.

Could it be Kishorn? (probably in Lochcarron or Applecross parish)
