I have a link to Arthur Moore b Aug 1869 in Tyrone - his parents were Arthur Moore and Margaret Moore - I'm having troubles finding a marriage record.

Any suggestions?

Protestant or Catholic? Statutory recording of Catholic marriages only started in 1864 ........... (Non-RC marriages started in 1845.)

My apologies for the delay in replying to you both - been off elsewhere doing another family line.

Sorry - no idea as to the religion. I found Arthur Moore on the Scottish census but have yet to find when they actually arrived in Scotland.

Is there a site similar to Scotlands people for Irish records? Or where do you suggest is a good site?

My cousin and I are stuck - we've not been able to find anything further back than the marriage of Arthur and Margaret.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
