trying to find donald macpherson born in strath.....

have traced an ancestor called Donald Macpherson born in Strath (isle of skye) on 4/3/1851 to father John Macpherson and mother Marion nee Robertson, on the 1881 census he is shown in Strath and is listed as a seaman but after that i cannot trace him again, can anyone help

Hi Breakish,

Perhaps Donald met his demise in a shipwreck or jumped ship in Singapore? Gosh, he maybe difficult to track down? When I did a google on Donald Macpherson and Donald Machpherson Seaman, mutiple pages are listed.
