I am looking for any information on Rebecca (Elizabeth) Canning.
The information that I have is as follows

DOB C:-1877.
She was the daughter of John Canning & Catherine McIntyre.
The above information was gained from other people.
I would like to be able to verify this .
I have looked on the LDS & Ancestry sites & cannot see anything.

You'll find the record on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk in 1876, in Adrossan, Rebecca born in Windmill Street in Saltcoats.

PS There's another Rebecca CANNING born locally a few years earlier, - looks like John had a brother living nearby!

And don't ignore the poor relief database, - this may be the only source where you will might find the fully detailed place of birth in Ireland of John and Thomas CANNING.
