In March 2004
Wendy Marshall posted the following on Caithness.org genealogy forum
Calder/Oman Family Wick
I am descended from Alexander Calder from Wick who married Anne Oman in 1849 and had a son William Peter Calder in 1853 in Pulteney Town. Alexander was a sailmaker at the time. Does anyone have any further information on these families ?
I recently posted a reply but so far she has not checked back. These people link into my family
I would like to get in touch with Wendy about them.

Sorry :( it isn’t Wendy responding to your post, but don’t give up :!:

I just wanted you to know that there is hope for a reply! My recent run of luck with my Scullion family started when I responded to a post that had been made on another board on September 1, 2002…I saw the post four years later and responded on September 4, 2006. I didn’t hear anything until two weeks ago when I finally received an email and we exchanged information on a daily basis for a week.

Here’s hoping Wendy will check her original post or see your plea on TS…. Good Luck! :)
