My husband served his apprenticeship with John Cochrane, Joiners in the 1950's. I suppose that buliding is long gone

Mu husband thinks that the building I was talking about was originally the Police Stables, I will contact Alastair Dinmore at the Glasgow Police Heritage Society and see if he know anything.

I would imagine it to be gone but don't know for sure.
There is a picture of iton The Virtual Mitchell site though.
