I have his marriage, 1881, 1891 census.
He was in Glasgow 1900, then this:

I have a few Thomas McMenemys and various spellings, in my tree, especially from Glasgow, what was his wifes name??

his wife was Christina Fraser. She died Govan 1930.
Six children. Can't find death of

1. Charles Brand Fraser McM*.
I have this info on him:

I've been looking for Charles. Have you found them in 1920?

Edgewater Drive, Washington Township, Lucas County, Ohio
McMenemin, Charles F, head, 36, came to U.S. in 1908, naturalized in 1918, born in Scotland, Bl?nc??? can't make out his occupation :roll: )

Sorry, the writing is terrible...

Could this be his death? Does the date of birth fit?

Hi Cathy,
You have my sympathies-- this surname is a nightmare! :shock: Half the time they don't come up in a search, even with soundex. Help! :roll:

I found another passenger list for Charles, arriving in New York on 22nd May 1911. Do you have that one?
It seems he was a Plumber, so that must be the occupation I couldn't read in 1920. He was headed to join a frend named John Jones in Toledo.

That was my maiden name, and Im glad to have an easier name to work with!! I think I've heard every possible way to butcher that name over the years!!

Im looking through my saved certs, I think I have a Charles somewhere, and I think I also have your Thomas' marriage to Christina, coincidentally, my grandparents were Thomas and Christina, too from Glasgow. I'll PM you when I find the record.
