Looking for anything on Allan McEachern, what I know, he was born Abt 1840, was one of 5 children, the others being Donald, Catherine, Mary and Hector, I have the records for these down to the present day but have been unable to find anything on Allan apart from the 1861 census where he is registered as living with Arch and Christina McEachern, his parents. his given age on the 1861 census is 20. At the time they where living in Torrans, Kilfinichen, Isle of Mull, I have left messages on the Mull Genealogy site with no luck.

On ScotlandsPeople, there is a death registration for Al*n M*eachern, male, born 1840 +-3, died 1861-1871, aged 20-30. In total, there are 3 Al*n M*eachern deaths for males born 1840+/- 3, 1861-1900.

You could probably do a better match, if you include the surname of the mother.

Thanks, Allans mother Christinas maiden name was also McEachern as was her married name.
