In the 50 years to 1920 there were five DAVID MARTINs - all related - and all living in West Ayrshire. One was my father - he lived in Saltcoats.
Great grandfather David Martin (1852 to 1879) was born in Riccarton, Kilmarnock.
Would like info on any of the other three Davids and their descendents. In particular:
David Martin 1876 to 1942 Stevenston - worked at Ardeer Dynamite factory and married Mary Ann Gracie. They had four children - David, Mary, Anne and James Law Martin (1903 - 1925)
David Martin born 1897 in Boglemart Street Stevenston.
David Martin 1898 to 1953(?) lived in Dreghorn/Crosshouse/Kilmaurs and worked for a sink manufacturer; married Christina Beattie in 1922. This David had 2 sisters - Lizzie Bird Martin (1899) and Cathy Martin (1903 to 1949 RTA).

Hi Anne
We can't give you help on the forum with descendants who may still be living, but with any luck someone may be researching the same familly.
The only other way to find out anything would be to visit NRH in Edinburgh, Park Circus in Glasgow... or take a gamble and buy one of our Tombola tickets and you might win some lookups!
