Grace Hamilton McMillan or Simpson

My great Aunt Grace Hamilton McMillan was born to Catherine McMillan in West Kilbride on 14 Jun 1893. Her mother was unmarried.

Catherine married Malcolm Stalker in West Kilbride on 12 July 1895.

On the 1901 census, Grace is noted as Grace Stalker. Catherine died in 1901 lot long after the census was taken.

I have found Grace marrying George Simpson on 2 Jun 1913 at Glasgow.
I am looking for anyone who has any common ancestry with me. I am eager to find out some information about the McMillan/Stalker family and would greatly appreciate anything at all.

Hi there

There's not much that can be done from online as you're at the top of the food chain as far as census records go and near the top as far as online statutory records. There is only one marriage on SP of a Malcolm STALKER between 1901 and 1931. This one occurring in 1902 and he is listed as a widower. Perhaps it's a remarriage?
