Have you had a look at the valuation rolls?
You could search for any of the addresses shown on census, birth or marriage and see if the husband's name crops up later than you'd expect.

Possibly a long shot, but might give a better date range to work on.

That Christina seem to have had a few names, her death is registered under Gunn, Campbell, Malcolm and Gemmel. At Latheron in 1937 aged 67. Married : James Gunn in 1901 [ died 1909] Thomas Gemmell in 1910 at Wick [?died 1922] Not sure where the Malcolm comes in - no obvious marriages around the time...
