well I had a wee go at finding it but failed , but then I'm no computer expert so over to you lads.... Catriona, I had a job finding some of mine. The numbers seem to start at 1 then do all the odd numbers then turn at the top/bottom and come back the way to 2 ie 1 3 5 7 9 11 13 then 14 12 10 8 6 4 2 - hard going when there are 200 houses :shock: That may seem too simple an explaination, but it may h...

Back then the great majority of people would not have owned property and would not therefore appear in a Valuation Roll. I haven't heard of any other VRs on-line, but wouldn't be surprised....... A couple of the good ones were Cairnknussie (in Aberdeenshire)... Andrew Andrew, I was up at Lonmay and found Cairnknussie - it's a big ruined house but must have been something in it's time.
