I have a problem and hope someone can help.
On my desk computer I have Windows Mail and on my laptop Outlook express. I was expecting an email today and when I looked on the desk computer there were no new messages. I don't know why but I decided to try the lap top and I had 3 new messages.
I have both computers plugged in to a TP-Link. I haven't noticed this before, any reason??? Or do I have to try both computers each time I want to check my mail?

I don't use either but would imagine they are 2 different email accounts. Have you tried logging on to Windows Mail (hotmail?) from your laptop?

Re: email
Hello Wini,
I don’t use either program, I use THUNDERBIRD from the makers of FIREFOX which will run on just about anything.
If you have two machines running Windows it may be worthwhile thinking about having the same email program on each one, that way you only have the one program to understand and worry about. The latest offering from Microsoft is Windows Live Mail which will install on XP, Vista and Windows 7, but see the System Requirements. http://download.live.com/wlmail
If you want to stick with what you have, and you do have more than one email account, you could add an account to each machine so that they can receive messages for both email addresses.
How to Configure Outlook Express for Multiple E-mail Accounts http://www.ehow.com/how_11791_configure ... press.html AND MAYBE http://www.freeemailtutorials.com/outlo ... tSetup.cwd

Hope that’s useful,
Alan
