Small and Special, a collection of resources for medical, family and local historians based on the Victorian and Edwardian admission records for Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children.

The admission records database contains information on over 85,000 patient admissions from the day the Hospital opened in February 1852 to the end of 1914. It provides a unique resource for medical historians and demographers seeking to gain a better understanding of the early development of paediatric medicine and childhood diseases.

Family historians and local historians will find a treasure trove of information on Victorian families and healthcare in Victorian and Edwardian London.
