Hope you have a great time there, my father walked from Innellan to the Grammar School daily for several years. The only slight "con" was getting worms from the neaps partaken of on the way from a passing field.
Although Dunoon itself is perhaps not on the cusp of success, Cowall generally is fabulous, with great views in pretty well all directions.

I think I only went to Dunoon once but when I hear it mentioned I always think of the rhyme from school
