I have traced my Watsons with difficulty back to Stoneykirk & at times Ireland. My ancestor is Mary Watson b. Stoneykirk daughter of John Watson & Susanna McCutcheon. They were married in Newtonards, Ireland. Susanna subsequently died in Scotland & John remmarried Ann Edgar in Ballyblack, Ireland later returning to Scotland.
