Just incase anyone is interested, I did see a couple of photo albums/scrapbooking books in an Art shop in Glasgow, and I later ordered an album online at:

as they seemed to have reasonable prices. Item arrived in a couple of days, and I've since ordered and received another.....plus refills, plus patterned paper.... so I'm finally managing to get all those photos out of those deadly self-adhesive albums and stuck into the new albums using acid free photo corners. My conscience is feeling better already!
