Anyone with family buried in Hamilton might find them on here...

http://www.hamilton.co.nz/page/pageid/2145832680

Quote:
"The online cemetery database allows searches of cemetery records to find information about family and friends. The person doing the search can enter the details they already know and can get more specific information we may have on the cemetery database such as the full name, age, date of death, type of burial, where interred and attending funeral director.

The database contains records from the all three cemeteries operated by Hamilton City Council - Hamilton Park Cemetery, Hamilton East Cemetery and Hamilton West Cemetery - including burial records from the 1850s.

Please Note: Information accessed via this search is continuely updated. If you can provide further information, or identify an error, please notify us by phone during business hours 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday on 07 856 7987."

Even gives you a map of where buried. Wish every cemetery was online!

Note: This is Hamilton, New Zealand, not Hamilton, Lanarkshire.

All the best,

Thanks Andrew...I didn't even notice, although I think I should have known it wouldn't be Scotland! That'll teach me not to stay up so late. Wish I lived in New Zealand. :)
