i used to love the Pathe News at the cinema when I was at the ABC minors or at the Sat.Afternoon matinee.Oh those were the days.

There's absolutely tons to be found!

From the brief searches I've done, I've come across:
- footage of the building and launch of my granddad's brother's ship in 1928, (still astounded by that one - can't wait to show my uncle/ his son!)

- footage of the demise of my granddads ship in 1930 (it went on fire!)!

- footage of the unveiling of the 'new' war memorial near my parent's home - a landmark of the district and my teenage years!

- footage of several of the districts I'm interested in, both down here and up in Scotland.

Just play around with the keyword search, it's amazing what you find - I'm sure I'll find more yet!
