Angus burial records and others

Post by speleobat2 » Sun Sep 20, 2009 12:17 pm

Good morning,

I was googling for the location of burial records for Angus and came across a bit in the Eastman Online newsletter saying that the Angus Council had put all of its records online here:

https://www.deceasedonline.com/servlet/GSDOSearch

The records are there! This is a pay per view site, but the initial search is free. Use the advanced search and you can narrow your search down by region. I haven't registered yet so I don't know what it costs, but will after I have another cup of coffee. A couple of entries of interest came up in my search.

Carol :D
Looking for: Clerihew, Longmuir/Longmore, Chalmers, Milne, Barclay in Newhills,
Munro, Cadenhead, Raitt, Ririe/Reary

Good morning, Carol,

Yep! Sure did!

That was the weekend when one of my teeth started acting up with no dentist in town! Spent a lot of time with an ice pack on my face, moaning and groaning! I missed a lot of everything there for a few days!
