BELFAST CITY Burials

Belfast City Council have put online burial records for the following cemeteries :

•Belfast City Cemetery - records from 1869 (including the Jewish, public and Glenalina extension sections)
•Roselawn Cemetery - records from 1954
•Dundonald Cemetery - records from 1905.

It does not currently include burial records for the following cemeteries:

•Balmoral Cemetery
•Clifton Street Graveyard
•Friar's Bush Graveyard
•Knock Burial Ground
•Shankill Graveyard.

Hopefully these will be forthcoming.

That is good news indeed! I'm personally waiting anxiously for the Shankill burials, but it looks as though they may be forthcoming!

Hi Billgen You just beat me to posting it ! I have already found a couple of mine though they were from Newtownards area one must have gone to hospital in Belfast and died there I knew the other was living 1 mile from Belfast from another document so good to see more records avail in Ireland many of our Aulds originated there
