Hi Karen,

The Mitchell Library's webpages describe their holdings. Click on the "Libraries" link at the top of this page, to find a link to the Mitchell's homepage (and linked pages beyond).

All the best,

Hi Karen,
Since last year all the streets around The Mitchell now have parking meters.
At one time (when it was free) you'd find it hard to find a parking space, but no bother now...at a cost!
--
From the Glasgow City Council page at http://tinyurl.com/ovpmz
Parking tariffs are as follows:-
Pay & Display
10p for the first half hour, 10p for every 10 minutes thereafter up to a maximum of 3 hours
--
And woe betide anyone that forgets to top up the meter (or move after 3hrs)...wardens are always about somewhere!
Even if i did drive i'd still take the bus - much less hassle i'd be thinking.

thanks jack, as it turns out i had to make a trip into glasgow today and popped in while i was there, there was plenty of parking spaces. although probably if i was just going to the mitchell i would take public transport.
