The Ontario Genealogical Society site includes a great deal of indexed information on census, births, obits, cemetaries, marriages and some military records. A few census records include maiden names. Predominately focussed on Ontario, it does include some info relating to other provinces.

Contact info for the Ontario Genealogical Society and its member societies is also available.
