Scotsman Archive Alert

Post by DavidWW » Wed Nov 29, 2006 9:15 am

No promises and no guarantees, but on 30th November 2005, and 2004, access was free for the 24 hour period at http://archive.scotsman.com/ .

Hovever, be warned that the site was heavily overloaded on previous occasions, so stay up late, or get up early to get onto the site asap after midnight, always assuming, of course, that the 24hr free access offer is repeated.

I think Scotsman Publications has changed ownership within the past year. Maybe it is not the policy of the new owners to give out this useful freebie.

All the best,
