Browsing through the web and came accross these. I tried to search the forum to see if it had been posted before but I couldn't find anything. So apologies if it has actually been posted before.

Hi Pandabean
We've certainly referenced that web site before, it has a lot of good stuff in it, but it seems to be updated and improved regularly, which is a good thing, so many thanks for drawing our attention to this section - lots of very useful stuff there (for me, at any rate - quite a few people from that area in my tree)
The Leith one, with what appear to be dates, giving indications of which areas were built or developed when is agood find!

Best wishes

Hi Andy
thanks for reminding folks about Peter's web site. It's the best on the Web.
It was his site that started me on genealogy. He has included my G grandfather George Oman amongst the early professional photographers and welcomes any additional family information and photos to add to his collection.
If anyone else has a professional Edinburgh photographer in their tree he will be delighted to include any information you have.
