Ancestry Immigration Collection -Free Access till April 30th

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but Ancestry.com's Immigration collection ( including the new Border Crossing records ) are free to view until April 30th.

I've already found some of my Canadian rellies off for a wee holiday in the States !

Its a shame certain other sites dont entice you in with free time like Ancestry. Once youve had a peek and a bit of luck thats it .............. :D

Or be like me and wait for it - the free time - to come round again :wink:

Free Ancestry

Hi,

I just logged on to the Immigration section of Ancestry and it's not allowing me to see the records? It's asking me to purchase or buy pay per view? Thought it was free til April 30th???
Callaghan or Callahan & Callachan - Blantyre & Ireland. Polockus -(many variations) Blantyre, Bellshill & Lithuania, Worldwide. Young and Boyle - Hamilton and Fife also Ireland. O'Donnell from Hamilton and Ireland Hastie from Fife also Burns from Fife

Try going to ancestry.com rather than ancestry.co.uk and see if that works. It still says on the home page that immigration records are free until the 30th.

Yes that's what I had to do too and it works fine that way.
