Well not exactly free.
You have to purchase the Sunday Times.
Well worth the £1,90p in my opinion, for the poster, not the paper.
Perhaps another member can give their opinion.
The poster has paintings of the main players and a wee time line.
I am sorry I am not allowed to send out any to you on here.
However, I have purchased 6 copies just in case they sell out in the wee local shops in Cathcart Road.
The rule of thumb states that there will be several copies left over to be sent back to the suppliers, tomorrow morning, this time weyoot the posters.

Anyone who's interested is most welcome to have my copy!
The timeline is "thin" to say the least, - there's much better ones at http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/corpo ... treaty.htm including a facsimile of the treaty, and http://www.forscotland.com/actofu.html , - in the case of the latter, the opinions expressed are far from neutral, but the full text is there, which makes interesting reading !
The main illustration on the ST poster can be seen at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_independence , - at the top of the first page.
The portraits of the 6 "key" players* can be found at http://www.npg.org.uk/live/index.asp , or http://www.nationalgalleries.org/visit/page/2:298:3 , or http://www.bridgeman.co.uk/ .

David has directed you to good sites, which I am sure you will have all learned from.
However, once again, TS and myself have a culture clash.
On my wee world “Planet Glasgow” a poster is a big dod o’ paper that weans kin pin up oan ther wall, and in this case, tae possibly help wey ther education .
Not a historical document.

Hi
I am oan tae apologise tae oor English members fawr giein yeese a bum steer oan this.
It appears that the poster wiz only issued wey the SCOTTISH edition of the Sunday Times.
However, some areas in Ulster got the Scottish wan anaw.
I am sure ther is a moral here, but ah huvnie thunk aboot wan yet.
Noo, ah wiz waaantin a few posters for our Sunday school project so needed a couple o’ dozen.
Where ah bide, in the sou’side o’ the city, ma wee street has seven newsagents (coarner shops, though no aw oan coarners, but ah’m sure ye get ma drift) within two hunner yards o’ each other.
So ah went roon last night and asked them tae hawd oantae oany that didnae sell.
Managed to get anither 7 aff thaem this morn.
Then phoned up the Times tae see whit they could dae.
The number is 020 7860 1132 or you can e-mail thaem on
custserv@sunday-times.co.uk
I have been in touch wey them in the past when looking for inserts from the paper and they have always been obliging.
(Once got 48 children’s DVDs for a Chernobyl charity fund raiser).
That was when I was informed it was an only Scottish deal.
So phoned the local lot up and am waiting for ther response.
Sorry fawr waffling ther’
But thocht yeese might jist waaant tae know.
