re LDS

Post by ASGROOMBRIDGE » Thu Apr 26, 2007 4:43 pm

Sometime ago I read a post I think from David WW regarding transcribing records for the LDS, I thought at the time what a great opportunity to put something back in after years of taking from them. I am not very good on computers but I thought I would give it a try and this week I did, I have just finished my first batch, it was a census for Ilinois, I found it really interesting (oh how I wish Scottish census returns had that much information on them).
So this really is to say any of you out there with some spare time, why not give it a go, there is no pressure and it really is interesting.

Now I shall get off my soap box before I fall off.

Good for you, Audrey!

Genealogy is certainly a hobby/interest/obsession that has more than its share of people who give of themselves easily. TS members are so lucky to have more than our share.
