I've only ever done visits to Park Circus in Glasgow - but I'm considering a wee jaunt to Edinburgh.
Can anyone tell me if you have to book first or do you just turn up?
I know it's opposite the train station - I'm guessing Waverly.
Also do you pay per search or is it a flat fee?
Thanks
Janice

I would book just in case but you might be lucky if you turn up on spec.
It's a daily/half-day fee & when I went last year cost me £17 for the day.
It is indeed opposite to Waverely Station & just around the corner from the St James Centre.I am guessing you will take advantage of your free train travel(my brother works for Scotrail like your hubby).
It is worth every penny but be prepared-plan what you are going for or you will be down the highways&byways like a butterfly& the day just flashes by.
Good hunting.

May as well take advantage of my free ticket - and I'm desperate to get so serious delving done.
PC is booked to the rafters, so I was thinking it may be quicker to head to Edinburgh.
I need to slot in a visit to the Mitchell soon too.

Better to book if you are going for the whole day. Half days can't be booked, though; just a case of turning up and hoping there is a place. Can anyone tell me if you have to book first or do you just turn up?
